Being in the seafood business it’s impossible to ignore the fact that our planet’s oceans are being depleted due to a variety of reasons and we’re committed to being a part of the solution rather than part of the problem.  Andy’s Island Seafood has joined the Seafood Choices Alliances, an international association that promotes and supports ocean-friendly seafood businesses around the globe.  The Alliance seeks to make the seafood marketplace environmentally and economically sustainable.  There is a growing interest worldwide in environmentally responsible seafood and Andy’s Island Seafood has chosen to join with others in the industry in support of a sustainable supply of seafood choices, highlighting the need for a global solution to threats facing the world’s oceans and rivers.

We sell fresh local fish – and only approved farm raised fish.  We don’t use preservatives or other chemicals on our products and we’ve switched to biodegradable bags and carry out containers.
