Reborn Glass

“Reborn Glass" artists  Vawn & Mike Gray  have been very successful artists for almostWall Vase 20 years raising three kids and a host of pets while staying on the cutting edge of decorative art.  Their sand-cast and iron works can be found in many homes and businesses around the country and have become highly collectible designer pieces.  Once their children were grown it was time for Mike and Vawn to delve into a new realm – that of preserving the planet and creating exquisite, earth friendly works of art.  These pieces are finding their way into museum shops around the country as well as some of the finest catalogues.  Andy’s is privileged to have their work in the market’s Green Gallery.

For nearly 2 decades we have made a living solely with our creative expression. Our studio remains a Bottle Stopperssmall family operation run from our home in Cape Coral, FL. This year we have been inspired to put our focus on ecological awareness. This has brought about dramatic changes in our studio operations and our lives!

Developing our line of fused recycled glass gifts and accessories has been a sincere challenge of trial and error...charting unexplored territory in kiln formed glass.

We soon realized that bottles only come in green (trees), brown (earth), blue (water), and clear (air). The relationship between those colors and the earth's natural resources inspired us to create our line of subtle, artful reminders to conserve. Because of the spontaneous nature of its design, each piece of Reborn Glass is a collectable one-of-a-kind.

It is our sincere hope that Reborn Glass will foster enlightened environmental consciousness that will take root and bloom.  All of our offerings are packaged in hand stamped recycled gift boxes and/or hand stamped cotton draw string bags. Our original keepsake conservation themed poems are enclosed.”

RoRo Boxes

Linda Rodino is well known and very popular among those in the art community for her artful eye as well as her excellent framing talents.  For many years she’s been the principal framer for Ikki Matsumoto, one of SW Florida’s favorite artists and is also the favorite framer for many other esteemed artists in the area.

As she became more conscious of how much leftover framing material became rubbish she began collecting these scraps and other discarded items with the idea of turning this trash into something useful and fun.  She starting collecting knobs and other odds & ends and began creating wonderful decoupage boxes from the frames, matting, photos and various rope, jewels and other ornaments.  No two boxes are alike and they vary in style from a French boudoir theme to teddy bears and tassels.

Lynn Berreitter - Photographer

I am a Documentary Photographer. It’s as simple as that. Or is it? I believe that through the lens of my camera, through my eyes, eternity exists. I have the ability to freeze time, to preserve moments indefinitely, to create history. It is my goal to create something for future generations to view, reflect, ponder and learn. Photography has in a sense created time travel. What an invention. Although if not applied properly, photography has the ability to create false truths. The statement “every picture tells a story” is true, but is the story true? As a photographer, it is my duty to document what I see, what is real. This is what I do. It has been almost 40 years since I picked up my first camera and I am still in awe of it now as I was then. I am always amazed when I can pick up my camera and capture a fleeting moment. I hope I can make a difference.
